RCF Transducer Technology
RCF transducers are engineered for clarity, power handling, and long-term reliability. ART 8 combines clean high-frequency detail, strong vocal projection, and solid low-frequency response with controlled distortion. The True Resistive Waveguide reduces high-frequency distortion and shapes constant directivity across the listening area, improving coverage and stereo image.
High Frequencies
The new 1.75" compression driver voice-coil design with Polyimide-Kapton dome features a new bonding technology and reinforced ribs making it 10 times more durable than previous designs. The redesigned phase plug increases sound clarity, enhancing transient response and improving coupling with the low-frequency transducer.

Low Frequencies
Low-frequency transducer design gains more stability over higher currents, with less distortion, and is highly efficient in terms of heat dissipation. RCF quality control is very strict. Our woofers are tested with a 200 hours continuous signal to stress the transducer at extreme levels. Only the best woofer design can fit ART 8.

RCF Class D amplifier technology delivers high output and high efficiency in a lightweight design. ART 8 amplifiers provide fast attack, accurate transient response, and reliable audio performance. The solid aluminum structure improves transport durability and supports fanless heat dissipation, while switched-mode power supply maximizes output and reduces weight.
True Resistive Waveguide
The integration of waveguide geometry, vented port placement, and FiRPHASE technology enables the speaker to function as a single, coherent source. The True Resistive Waveguide mimics a resonance-free load, reducing high-frequency distortion compared to traditional horn designs. Engineered for consistent performance, the waveguide delivers constant directivity across the listening area, improving coverage and stereo imaging.

ART 8 uses a reinforcedmodern composite enclosure engineered for strength, acoustic stability, and a professional appearance. Internal M-Brace reinforcement increases structural rigidity and minimizes unwanted vibration, supporting cleaner sound at high volume. Lightweight yet durable, the enclosure is suited to portable systems, live stages, venues, and fixed installations. The grille cover is made of heavy-duty steel, protecting both the transducers and the vented ports.

SUB Pairing with ACE Presets
ART 8 can perform as a full-range speaker on its own or be combined with RCF subwoofers for greater low-frequency extension and impact. ACE-enabled subwoofer models, starting from the SUB AX Series, include dedicated integration presets for ART 8 speakers, ensuring optimized tuning with the touch of a button. RCF’s Advanced Crossover Engine (ACE) precisely adjusts time delay and phase precisely to optimize power and impact of the system.

ART 8 is easy to carry, with ergonomic handles on both sides and the top. The lower side includes a steel pole socket for mounting on a stand or subwoofer pole. Each model can be used as a main system, fill speaker, or stage monitor, and can also be flown, wall-mounted, or truss-mounted using multiple M10 rigging points and dedicated accessories.

Low-Frequency Enhancer
XBOOST adds extra depth and impact to the low-frequency response when more bass presence is needed. It can be activated directly from the rear panel, giving users a fast way to adapt the speaker to the performance, the room, or the listening level. For setups without a subwoofer, XBOOST helps create a fuller sound while keeping the overall response controlled and balanced.
New perspective on linearity
RCF speakers are designed using a proprietary and advanced digital FiR technology, conceived to deliver transparent sound, absolute clarity, and perfect imaging to the listener. The special FiRPHASE filters allow for coherent distribution of sound for all listeners without phase distortions, ensuring minimum latencies in the system.
