MMR 30T is a full range wall mount monitor speaker, suitable for a wide range of applications, both indoor and outdoor. Thanks to its elegant and discreet design and refined finishes, it is suitable for all environmental and architectural conditions. Featuring a 3’’ woofer and 10 W RMS power, it is also equipped with a transformer for connection to constant voltage lines (70/100 V). The high quality of its transducer guarantees faithful and precise musical reproduction throughout the audio spectrum and allows to reach truly remarkable sound pressure levels for such compact products. The connection is simple and safe thanks to the removable two-pole screw terminals.

Constant Voltage Speakers

Constant-voltage speaker systems, also called high impedance or 70V/100V audio distribution systems, refer to networks of loudspeakers equipped with line transformers connected to an audio amplifier with high-impedance output. This approach offers several advantages such as:

High voltage (70V or 100V) enables long cable runs between amp and speakers with reduced power loss: low-level current allows smaller cable diameters
Speakers can be wired in parallel in large numbers, limited only by available amplifier power
Different speaker types with different power requirements can share the same speaker line simultaneously, making the system wiring easier
Adding or removing a speaker is very quick and simple, it does not require to re-wire the overall circuit
